Nevada Police standing on the street corner

I just drove through town tonite around 9:30 and at the corner of Kum & Go and Big 8, there was 2 policeman (one on each side of the road), standing there with flashlights. What are they looking for?

Seat belt violations and other violations they can see.

When I was a kid we had beat cops and they did indeed know everybody on their "beat". Kind of feels good seeing them on the street. They do a good job and the presence of police on the street does help keep the "snake" types at bay....When I see them I say Hi and offer a wave when they drive by....they are people too and may defend you some day. Perhaps even save your life.....

They're doing the same thing at the Catholic Church corner tonight. They just stopped someone in a small car with handicap plates.

Actually its a prostitution sting... Drive up and ask them if they are looking for a date... Ask them how much.. Then ask them if they are a cop.....
