How much snow in Pella this last storm

How much snow did you actually get down there in Pella??

I have a daughter that lives in Oskaloosa and she said they had 15" , this last storm.And I've heard Pella was about the same.They are talking like this snow today might bring another 8"-10"to that area.Its been a long time since I can remember that kind of snows in that area.I was raised in Pella and I can recall having 4-5 snow days in a row back in the early 60's.Back in "65" I got stranded in Newton at a State tournament game for 2 days before hiway 14 got opened up.Now those were some good snow storms.

I miss the "good" snow storms.

I remember walk across a snow drift in my home town where we were looking down on cars driving down the highway.

Yes I think they got buried too-with this storm they won't ever be able to dig out. Ha! I remember the storms back then too- I hated them on school days-(went to a DesMoines school) and it seemed we always had to go no matter what. Up here the kids are constantly getting out.

To answer your question Dude,this is one of the daughters that you haven't met.I just heard that Oskaloosa received another 10.5" of snow last nite again,and it's still snowing there.Bring out the dog sleds and the Huskies,and the snowmobile business is looking up!
