I just saw a story on KCCI tv about someone that walked up to a couple in a restaurant and presented them with a signed blank check.
He told them to fill it out and they jokingly wrote in $100k. He said, "I'm good for it." They took the check to the bank and he was good for it!!! Last edited by 50201; 02-03-2008 at 10:04 PM. |

The donor happens to be an older gentleman that had just been to the doctor and said that he had no family. Apparently it was not good news. Now he will have the pleasure to donate his money and know that he gave it to people that could use it to better themselves. He had asked the couple if they had any children before he handed them the blank check. I really feel for the gentleman and I hope that by giving his money away it will help him with some closure.
