But apparently Nevada people, like you, are reading this thread and they know who I saw.

Yes. Most of their names are also found in online phone directories.

Exactly what I was thinking. For example, I had to know if the "Thor" mentioned on the previous page was a real person. Took me about 5 seconds to see that not only is he real, he doesn't even live in Ames.

Seriously, you never know WHO is reading these boards. Please keep in mind that when you post someone's real name, you are basically posting their real name, address, and phone number.

You should also contact the online phone directories and notify them that they are doing the same thing. Maybe they aren't aware of it.

Look at what I found on http://dexknows.whitepages.com/searc...e=ames%2C+iowa.
That's a real name, address, and phone number.

This isn't nearly as bad as the millions of people on myspace that post other people's pictures & names on their site without permission. Personally, I think it's a serious invasion of someone's privacy to post the pictures. They didn't ask to be on someone's website.

However, if I'm at Target, I'm not really hiding that fact, so if someone saw me there and wants to share that, then sobeit.

I saw someone drunk in a bar last night that doesn't want to be named on this board, so I'm just going to say--hey, you weren't where you said you were going to be!!!

(And you know who you are!)
