If those places would have been paying their employees $15.00 an hour, they would still be open. Everyone knows that companies are making money hand over fist.

Quiznos corporate filed for bankruptcy a few days ago.

As I understand it, several Quiznos in Iowa closed at the same time the Ames store shuttered, including the Ankeny location. I drive by both quite regularly and noticed it right away.

I have a friend that seriously looked into franchise opportunities a few years ago and he told me that Quiznos was ranked very low, or should I say high risk, because of how the franchise was set up with the parent company. Ultimately, I believe many franchise holders got fed up recently and walked.

The one in Ankeny is closing too. Does the Walmart in that area sell groceries?
