I assume that one of the ways Aldi's reduces overhead is by not having a phone line to the store. My suggestion is to make friends with an employee and then call their cell phone when they're at work.

Anyone here a member of Wheatsfield Coop in Ames?

Do you feel the $100 one-time membership is worth it? What kind of dividends did you receive?

Most recently Super Walmart fits the bill. I can buy underwear, golf balls, and prunes all in one place.

You might reconsider for today. The east Hyvee has 1/2 gallon of chocolate milk for 20 cents. I think I wrote about this in the past but I can't find the post on glurb.

Good idea. Every time I eat prunes before I go golfing, I need new underwear.

I used to shop at Aldi's very infrequently because they didn't take credit cards. That all changed for me on February 1st when they began accepting credit cards!

I think I'm liking Aldi's better than Sam's Club nowadays...except for the poor customer service at Aldis.
