Wow! I just got a thread moved to another town. That was cool.

Maybe I don't understand the concept of Glurb. I thought if I wanted to discuss an issue that takes place in Story City, I would go to the Story City site and post a thread on that site. If I wanted to discuss an issue that takes place in Ankeny, I would post a thread on the Ankeny site.

I didn't realize you post on the site based on your place of residence.

Now I know. Thank you for setting me straight.

Still very cool I got a thread moved to another town.

I think it stinks that it got moved. We were doing just fine disusing it here on the Nevada end and now it will die because Theisens is out of the mainstream and situated too near the south end of what everyone calls "skunk hollow". Just a boor to Ames residents.

The Ames Theisens is breaking ground this week for their expansion. They're adding more than 50% more floor space.

The expansion is complete. I was in there last week. It's a lot brighter inside. Still just two cashiers. But there is s separate counter for returns now.

I talked to a kid working there yesterday that said his entire 6 hour shift was attending to the popcorn.
