Default THEISEN'S General Store

I was at Theisen's yesterday for the first time. Bought two 40 lb bags of dog food. The lady at the check out insisted calling one of he helpers to take to the car for me. I appreciated that. I'll go back.

I didn't know about that. I was on my way to Bee-Bop's for some good groceries when I stopped.
French Fries must be $2 an order there. They may lose money on the burgers but they make it back on the fries and drinks.

Why is an Ames issue posted on the Nevada Site? Shouldn't this go on the Ames Site?

I'm not seeing an issue here. Bud had great service when last he went and wanted to share that. If it makes you feel better, all of us from Nevada can get together and talk about boycotting your store in Ames. : )

I went to Theisens in Ames and showed them the price of the same item in a Lowes' ad. They told me they would match the price but asked me to go to Lowes and buy it there because Lowes was only a mile away and it is a lot of paperwork for them to match prices.

Is there a defined limit to what geographical region we may speak of here? I didn't realize that first there was such a limitation, and second you are the appointed one to monitor our frivilous conversations.

Maybe let us know the exact mile marker or road we can go out to and still post the conversation in this forum ;)

Maybe I should have put my complaint about the Ames Tribune on the Ames link as well. On the other hand that might get the attention of the Ames Tribune...so far nothing else has worked!
