Was it right near the old Chicago Northwestern offices?

The brownstone looking building that had a train car or something in the entry way? Looked like an old Depot inside? Just north of the Boone PD and FD?

Wish I knew my street numbers up there-I think it was off of story on 9th going east. Behind Belucci's about two doors down. I can't remember for sure either, but I think awhile back there was a guy in there that fixed shoes.

OMG, Boyd's dairy was the best! The glass bottles of milk, the ice cream, what a pity we lost that dairy.

Kokenackus is how it is pronounced, don't remember how it was spelled 8th and Keeler, SW corner, where investment center is now,, was Uncle jack's tacos for a while after Coney Island, then building fell in and torn down then new building was erected , is now Edward Jones investments.....another one around the coner on 9th street, close to 9th and Allen on southside, mid block.....Shoe repair shop in there after that, now Dixies diner. I may have visited one or both of these Coney Island places yrs ago in early 70's, but do remember where they were. Just us old fogies know this.

IF THE U of OWA had INTEGRITY, it could be spelled IOWA, but they don't, so it's not.
