Someone mentioned that the Ames Super WM may be closing there and moving it's stuff to the Boone Location due to the enormous flooding they get in their current spot. But that could just be heresay.

Thats just heresay.

The Ames S.Walmart was built to withstand most of the flooding that happens in the area (it was a requirement for them to be able to build there). They are insured, as well as making money hand over fist.

at the MOST, the north store would shut down.

Either way, it's 2nd hand info taken from the internet. That's good enough for me. I'm telling everyone I know that the Ames WalMart is done.

we could hope. sorry boone, walmart sucks, super walmart super sucks. used to go there now we don't, less cheap ****ty stuff around here and less money spent. no more walmart visits =a better life for me.

It'll open I've been told. Tonight is the last night the old walmart will be open. Phones etc are all be transferred tonight.

I was in the new Wal-Mart for the first time last night. Talk about a major disappointment. No restaurant, deli or bakery. We had heard that a Long John Silver's was going in there.

No fishies, no tire center, what was the point?

Now Orscheln will be moving into the old Wal-Mart. So, what will be going in the old Orscheln building?
