They're just going for the interstate /local motel trade not the local residents They have no truck parking despite the fact the fact in years past there were fuel signs 200' high
I predict MM will be gone in 1 year or so. And pizza ranch which has also changed hands, recently. Okoboji not far behind, all the local grants/tax abatements running out.

I am not a big fan of pizza ranch, went a couple times and they were always out of what I wanted, had to wait, etc. I just refuse to give my hard earned money for mediocre food, I guess.

I LOVE Pizza ranch. They were never ever out of anything I wanted and I wanted most of their foods. The pizza table always had 6 to 8 pizza varieties available.

I do NOT like Montana Mike's at all. At. All. I was unbiased in my opinion as my dinner was bought for me. usually when a meal is free it is at least tolerable, but MM was awful. That 1 trip was my ONLY trip there.

I've used PR a few times and the food was good and the buffet full.

I don't care for the fact they use the restaurant as a meeting place to push their religion into politics.

I guess that's right. Only difference is: I used to be proud to say I was from Newton, now I am somewhat ashamed by what it has become.

Seemed to be a cheap cut of meat small portions and only 1 bread, no refills on drinks.

Pizza ranch capitalizing on the cheap food, Pizza/chicken is the cheapest to make food around, a little flour, tomato sauce a bit of cheese. chicken wings very little meat the throw away part of the chicken until it was soaked in hot sauce and fed to drunks in a bar.

Maybe PR has changed management, it has been a couple of years now, but it only takes one bad experience to drive away a customer.

So which is it Ralphie-Boy? A few posts ago you said you liked Pizza Ranch food and praised them. This post you bad-mouthed them.

the food is good but I don't go there often, a lot of it is due to the fact they use the restaurant to support politician's like Vander Plots who wants to turn government into a bible based plan, much like what is in the middle east.
