No, that sounds too much like "Cha Ching" and it insinuates expensive prices.

"Hy-Vee" sounds a little to much like "high fees"

I miss Fareway's meat counter! We just relocated to Roscoe, IL, and so far I haven't found a store that offers a full-service counter like that. (Always fresh and tasty too!)

I won't ever shop at Sam's again after a bad experience I had a couple years ago. We had permission from his boss to use the company account and so my husband, 2 year old son and I had spent literally hours (and had made the 40+ mile trip there from Newton to Des Moines) in there shopping. We got to the checkout and everything was just fine until we went to pay. The lady looks at the several hundred dollars in cash my husband tried to hand her, and says "It says that you can only use a company check on this account, you'll have to go to customer service." Excuse me???

So we go to the service desk, and the guy there says the same thing. Now my husband had just been in there a couple weeks prior with his boss, and didn't have any problems. My husband also pointed out that his company DOES NOT USE COMPANY CHECKS. Period...there ARE none to use. So here we are with a cart overflowing with stuff...and my crying 2 year old...and this guy wouldn't speak with my husband's boss on the phone, and would NOT take our cash.

I was so irate and embarrassed I was shaking. No apology from these guys, nothing. My kid is bawling because he can't get the stuff he had picked out, I ended up late for work because of the whole fiasco, and we walked out of there empty handed. I will never set foot in one of their stores again, ever. Those b@st@rds.
